REWIND: WEEK 24
CORBIN REACHES 15-GOAL MILESTONE
Carolina Ascent FC’s Mia Corbin became the fourth player to record 15 regular season goals in the Gainbridge Super League on Saturday afternoon as she notched her third goal of the campaign.
Corbin joins Lexington SC’s Addie McCain (17), Dallas Trinity FC’s Allie Thornton (16) and DC Power FC’s Gianna Gourley (15) in reaching the landmark.
HISEY HITS NEW HEIGHTS
Spokane Zephyr FC goalkeeper Hope Hisey set a Gainbridge Super League single-season record with 71 saves in the current campaign following her two-save performance against Sporting Club Jacksonville on Saturday night.
The 24-year-old surpassed her own single-season mark in the 2024/25 season of 70 saves. Hisey currently sits 21 saves ahead of Lexington SC’s Kat Asman (50) for the most saves in the league this season.
SUN MAINTAIN UPPER HAND ON POWER
Tampa Bay Sun FC took a 2-0 victory against DC Power FC last Thursday night to maintain its undefeated record in the series between the two clubs, with the Sun now 4-0-2 against the Power across their regular season meetings.
The Sun have yet to suffer defeat against three teams in the Super League, also possessing a 2-0-5 regular season record against Fort Lauderdale United and a 4-0-1 record against Lexington SC.
FTL UTD SEEKS END OF STREAK
Fort Lauderdale United FC earned a 1-1 draw against Carolina Ascent FC on Saturday night, but the result extended the club’s winless streak to 12 games, the longest such streak in Gainbridge Super League history.
FTL UTD’s current run surpassed the 11-game streak of Brooklyn FC between February 22-April 26, 2025, with Fort Lauderdale’s most recent victory coming against Carolina on November 8, 2025.
TAMPA BAY PICKS UP COTTON BOWL WIN
Tampa Bay Sun FC earned its first away victory against Dallas Trinity FC on Tuesday night with a 2-1 win at the Cotton Bowl powered by goals from Sabrina McNeill and Carlee Giamonna. The Sun are now undefeated in their past five games against Trinity (2-0-3), but had previously gone 0-1-1 in their trips to the Cotton Bowl.

Three Sporting JAX players are within reach of setting new single-season records:
- Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Paige Kenton currently sits at seven assists this season, equaling the single-season record set in 2024/25 by Golden Playmaker winner Jill Aguilera. Kenton will set a new single-season record with her next assist.
- With 11 goals this season, Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta is two goals away from tying the league’s single-season scoring record set last year by Dallas’ Allie Thorton (13 goals).
- Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Kaitlyn Parks currently sits on nine shutouts this season, tying the regular season record of nine shutouts set by Spokane’s Hope Hisey in the 2024/25 season. Parks is currently on a 372-minute shutout streak after recording clean sheets in each of her past four games.

- Lexington SC (9-2-10, 37pts) earned a second consecutive victory on Saturday afternoon with a 1-0 win against Brooklyn FC that saw McKenzie Weinert score the only goal.
- The Power’s loss extended its home winless streak to four games, with the side having won just once and earned only eight points in 10 games at Audi Field this season on November 12 against Fort Lauderdale United FC.

- Jacksonville’s draw against Spokane saw the side’s four-game winning streak come to an end. It also brought to an end a 394-minute shutout streak that had seen the side post four consecutive clean sheets in league play.
- Brooklyn took victory in its last road contest, defeating Tampa Bay Sun FC 3-0 at Suncoast Credit Union Field on March 18, but has won only two games away from home overall this season, going 2-4-4 on its travels.
- Saturday’s game marks the second of three meetings between the clubs this season after a thrilling 3-3 draw at Maimonides Park on October 4 when they met for the first time. BKFC took a late lead on goals by Sam Rosette (86’) and Rebecca Cooke (90’) before Baylee DeSmith leveled for Jacksonville (90+5’) to split the points.
- Sporting JAX’s Ashlyn Puerta remains in the league-lead for the Golden Boot with 11 goals this season but is still looking for her first goal of the spring schedule, a seven-game run without finding the net. The United States U-19 international has, however, recorded four assists over the past seven games.
- Brooklyn FC has found its shooting boots against opponents from Florida this season, with the club recording 18 goals in its eight games against Fort Lauderdale United FC, Sporting Club Jacksonville and Tampa Bay Sun FC. All six of BKFC forward Cat Zimmerman’s goals have come against opponents from the Sunshine State this season.

- Dallas Trinity FC will try to rebound from a 2-1 defeat to Tampa Bay Sun FC on Tuesday night that extended the club’s current winless streak to four games, including consecutive home defeats at the Cotton Bowl.
- Spokane Zephyr FC earned a 1-1 draw against league-leader Sporting Club Jacksonville this past Saturday as Felicia Knox found the net at Hodges Stadium.
- Dallas Trinity’s current four-game winless streak is the second-longest in the club’s history, trailing only a six-game winless streak earlier this season between Sept. 13-Nov. 8, 2025. Tuesday night marked only the second time the side had lost consecutive home games at the Cotton Bowl over its history.
- Zephyr’s visit to the Cotton Bowl marks its final road game of the season, with Spokane set to play its final five games of the regular season at ONE Spokane Stadium as it bids for a first postseason berth.
- Saturday marks the fourth and final contest between Dallas and Spokane this regular season with the all-time series tied with three wins apiece and one draw. Trinity holds a 2-1-0 record this season, having claimed a 2-0 victory at ONE Spokane Stadium on November 11 when Sealy Strawn and Rhea Moore scored for the visitors.
- Zephyr goalkeeper Hope Hisey enters the contest having surpassed her own Super League single-season record for saves with 71 this season. The 24-year-old has posted a save percentage of 75.5% and seven shutouts this year as she approaches 150 regular season saves for her career.
- Trinity has conceded the second-most goals in the first half of games this season (17) while Spokane is tied for the second-fewest goals allowed in the first half of games this season (8).

- Tampa Bay returns home after earning a 2-1 victory against Dallas Trinity FC on Tuesday night that saw Sabrina McNeill and Carlee Giamonna find the net in the club’s first victory at the Cotton Bowl in club history.
- Carolina Ascent FC heads on the road after playing to a 1-1 draw against Fort Lauderdale United FC on Saturday night at American Legion Memorial Stadium. The result ended Ascent’s four-game winning streak and brough the club’s shutout streak to an end at 499 minutes.
- Tampa Bay’s victory in Dallas saw it record consecutive wins for the first time this season, with the Sun having previously taken a 2-0 victory against DC Power FC on March 26 at Audi Field. Three of Tampa Bay’s four victories have come away from home this season, with Tuesday’s result moving the side ahead of Fort Lauderdale United FC into eighth place entering the weekend’s action.
- Carolina earned its first victory against Tampa Bay in the all-time series when the teams last met as Tyler Lussi scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory at American Legion Memorial Stadium on March 13. The Sun hold a 2-1-3 lead in the series between the clubs ahead of their third meeting of the campaign and first at Suncoast Credit Union Field this season.
- Tampa Bay forward Faith Webber has recorded goal contributions in each of the past two games, notching an assist against Dallas on Tuesday night after scoring her first goal for the Sun against DC Power on March 26.
- Neither Tampa Bay nor Carolina has yet scored from a free kick this campaign with each side’s six set piece goals coming off corner kicks (4 apiece) and penalty kicks (2 apiece).
- Sunday’s contest marks Carolina’s first trip to face Tampa Bay in more than a calendar year with the Sun having taken a 1-0 win when the teams last met at Suncoast Credit Union Field on March 14, 2025.

- Fort Lauderdale United FC returns home after earning a 1-1 draw against Carolina Ascent FC last Saturday night as Kat Gonzalez scored a second-half equalizer against her former club at American Legion Memorial Stadium.
- DC Power FC will enter the contest following Wednesday night’s home game against Lexington SC at Audi Field.
- Fort Lauderdale’s draw extended the club’s winless streak to 12 games, the longest regular season winless streak in Super League history. The club is looking for its first win since a 1-0 result against Carolina Ascent on November 8.
- The Power will head south aiming to build on a sterling road record this season that has seen the club go 5-3-3 away from home this season. DC has won each of its past two road outings and is on a five-game road undefeated streak, last falling away against Dallas Trinity FC on December 6.
- DC took a 3-1 victory against Fort Lauderdale when the teams last met on November 11 at Audi Field as Dasia Torbert scored a pair of goals at Audi Field. The victory moved the Power into a narrow 2-1-2 lead in the all-time series with Monday’s game marking the second of three games between the clubs this season.
- Fort Lauderdale goalkeeper Haley Craig has been a bright spot for the side since moving into the starting lineup. During the spring schedule, Craig ranks third in the league with 18 saves on a save percentage of 78.2% and has posted a -3.55 Goals Prevented mark, second only to Dallas Trinity’s Tyler McCamey (-4.48) since the resumption of the season.
