Sporting JAX Sets Pace as Week 3 Reshapes Power Rankings

Week 3 of the 2026 Fall Season brought the first major shakeup to the Gainbridge Super League standings, with DC Power FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC earning statement victories on the road while Sporting JAX remained perfect atop the table.

4		Lexington SC (1-1-0) Week 4: ---	2 Last Week: 2	Lexington’s title defense has hit a rough patch coming out of a bye week, with Saturday’s defeat exposing problems against DC’s press. They will need to find more consistency against pressure after struggling to play through it at home.
5		Carolina Ascent FC (2-1-0) Week 4: vs. FTL	4 Last Week: 1	Carolina showed resilience against Tampa Bay, responding to a first-half deficit with Reese Tappan’s equalizer in the 67th minute. The Ascent ultimately fell seven minutes later, but Tappan’s continued impact from the back line remains an encouraging sign.
6		Fort Lauderdale United FC (1-1-0) Week 4: vs. CAR	1 Last Week: 7	Fort Lauderdale got the result it needed against Brooklyn, but the underlying numbers leave plenty to improve upon. The club has managed just 17 shots and 1.5xG through two games, including only 0.09xG per shot.
7		Dallas Trinity FC (0-2-1) Week 4: vs. BKN	1 Last Week: 6	Dallas controlled possession against Sporting JAX but struggled to turn that advantage into dangerous chances. Trinity had 58.2% of the ball and an 86.2% passing accuracy but managed just six shots, none of which were on target.
8		Brooklyn FC (0-3-0) Week 4: vs. DAL	Last Week: 8	Brooklyn looked brighter against Fort Lauderdale but remains without a point through three games. The next step is turning that improved attacking pressure into a decisive moment in the final third.
