Carolina Ascent Takes No. 1 as Brooklyn Stuns Sporting JAX in Week 5 – Power Rankings 

Carolina Ascent FC takes over the top spot after a late win against Lexington SC, while Brooklyn FC handed Sporting JAX its first loss of the season in a wild Week 5. With Tampa Bay Sun FC and Dallas Trinity FC also earning home wins, here’s how the eight teams stack up heading into Week 6.

3		Dallas Trinity FC (2-2-1) Week 6: @ FTL	2 Last Week: 5	Dallas has won back-to-back games as its attacking adjustments continue to pay off. 20-year-old Onyeka Gamero scored in her second straight game, while Jasmine Hamid added her third goal of the season against a good DC Power lineup.
4		Sporting JAX (3-1-1) Week 6: vs. LEX	3 Last Week: 1	Sporting JAX saw its unbeaten run come to an end after conceding twice in the opening 10 minutes against Brooklyn. Baylee DeSmit still found the net for her fifth goal of the season, keeping her atop the Golden Boot race.
5		Brooklyn FC (1-4-0) Week 6: @ CAR	3 Last Week: 8	Brooklyn flipped the script on its slow starts from a season ago, scoring twice inside the opening 10 minutes to stun former league leaders Sporting JAX. Head Coach Alex Smith will want to see more of that moving forward.
6		DC Power FC (2-2-1) Week 6: vs. TB	4 Last Week: 2	DC Power continues to create chances but couldn’t turn its attacking pressure into a result against Dallas. We’re still bullish on their prospects, but the Power need a response at home to Tampa Bay this weekend.
7		Lexington SC (1-2-0) Week 6: @ JAX	1 Last Week: 6	The defending titleholders had enough chances to earn a result against Carolina but couldn’t find a way past Sydney Martinez. That’s going to add pressure to Sunday’s visit to Jacksonville with a nine-point deficit to Ascent to make up already.
8		Fort Lauderdale United FC (1-3-0) Week 6: vs. DAL	1 Last Week: 7	Fort Lauderdale hadn’t held a lead against Tampa Bay since March 2025 before Sh’nia Gordon’s opener on Saturday but couldn't hold on in the second half and remains winless in 10 meetings against its Sunshine State rival.
