Fort Lauderdale secured its first win of the season and maintains its undefeated record after defeating Spokane 1-0 on the road. Ella Simpson headed home her second goal of the season off a corner from Stella Nyamekye, and goalkeeper Bella Hara recorded five saves to earn her and the team’s first clean sheet of the campaign. |

Lexington SC came out swinging in its home opener over the weekend, with Catherine Barry netting a brace within a five-minute span in the first half to put Lexington ahead and ultimately earn a 2-0 win over Brooklyn FC. Kat Asman also recorded three saves and two punches in goal to preserve the clean sheet, helping the Girls in Green record only their second-ever home win. |

Despite DC Power having last week off, the team remains in third place in the league standings following its strong opening two performances.
