English forward joins NWSL expansion side with option for permanent transfer; Sun add forward Faith Webber on loan from Denver
TAMPA, Fla. – Tampa Bay Sun FC announced on Friday the club had loaned forward Tash Flint to Denver Summit FC of the National Women’s Soccer League ahead of the 2026 NWSL season.
The Summit’s loan agreement includes an option to acquire Flint via transfer, and a concurrent loan of forward Faith Webber to Tampa Bay for the remainder of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season.
Flint joins the Summit having played a key role as the Sun claimed the inaugural Super League title, recording 10 goals and three assists in 24 appearances across the 2024/25 regular season and playoffs. The 29-year-old earned Super League All-League First Team honors for her performance as she recorded 30 shots on target, a 54.6 percent shooting accuracy rate and 18.2 percent shot conversion rate throughout the campaign.
“Tash is a talented striker with a track record of scoring goals,” said Summit General Manager Curt Johnson. “Her success in both Europe and the USL is impressive. We look forward to adding her to our team as we prepare for our first NWSL season.”
Webber joins the Sun on loan having signed with the Summit after completing a stellar collegiate career at Utah Valley University this past fall. A native of Grand Blanc, Mich., Webber recorded 70 goals and 17 assists in 82 appearances across four seasons for the Wolverines, setting program records for career goals and single-season goals with a 22-tally campaign in the 2025 season.
The 5-foot-8 forward was voted the Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 and was a four-time All-WAC First Team selection.
