- The contest could prove a key six-pointer for the Sun as they try to keep their bid to return to the postseason alive. The defending champions sit eight points behind Carolina in the fourth and final playoff berth with 11 games to play in the season, and need to cut into that deficit with victory on the road.

Carolina Ascent FC – Jill Aguilera: The 2024/25 Golden Playmaker recorded her first two assists of the current season against Dallas but leads the league with 37 chances created and a 4.12 Expected Assists mark as her set piece deliveries have provided opportunities for Ascent throughout the campaign.
Tampa Bay Sun FC – Faith Webber: The 23-year-old has made three substitute appearances since joining the Sun in the winter break, logging four shots in 57 minutes, and could be in line to start following the recall of Jordan Fusco from her loan by San Diego Wave FC of the National Women’s Soccer League.

Spokane Zephyr FC – Lena Silano: The club’s leading scorer this season, Silano has recorded three goals and one assist in her past four appearances while leading the side with 34 shots and 16 shots on target overall this season.
Brooklyn FC – Jess Garziano: The 24-year-old has recorded three assists from set pieces this season, helping BKFC sit second in the league with 10 set piece goals overall, an area the visitors will aim to capitalize on as they head west for the first of two visits to Spokane this spring.
