RECORD-SETTING PUERTA
Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta set a new single-season record with her 17^th goal contribution of the regular season with an assist on Baylee DeSmit’s first-half goal against Dallas Trinity FC on Sunday. The 19-year-old now has 11 goals and six assists in her rookie campaign, surpassing the 16 goal contributions recorded by Emina Ekic for Spokane Zephyr FC and Allie Thornton for Dallas Trinity in the 2024/25 season.

Dallas’ Chioma Ubogagu became the third player in league history to record double-digit assists in the regular season with her assist on Lauren Flynn’s goal against Lexington SC last Wednesday night. Ubogagu joins Carolina’s Audrey Coleman and Lexington’s Emina Ekic, who also reached 10 regular season assists in the league for their careers previously this season.

DESMIT’S ON A ROLL
Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Baylee DeSmit scored for the fourth consecutive game in her side’s 4-0 victory against Dallas Trinity FC on Sunday evening, equaling the longest individual scoring streak in Gainbridge Super League history. DeSmit is the third player to record a four-game scoring streak this season, joining teammates Ashlyn Puerta and Paige Kenton, while Fort Lauderdale United FC’s Jasmine Hamid achieved the feat in the 2024/25 season.

SPORTING JAX HAS RECORD IN SIGHTS
Sporting Club Jacksonville recorded its 12^th victory of the 2025/26 season on Sunday with a 4-0 result against Dallas Trinity FC, moving the club into a tie for the second-most wins in a Gainbridge Super League regular season. Jacksonville will get its first chance to equal Carolina Ascent FC’s record of 13 wins in the 2024/25 season on Saturday at home to Spokane Zephyr FC.

Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Paige Kenton currently sits at seven assists this season, equaling the single-season record set in 2024/25 by Golden Playmaker winner Jill Aguilera. Kenton will set a new single-season record with her next assist.
With 11 goals this season, Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta is two goals away from tying the league’s single-season scoring record set last year by Dallas’ Allie Thorton (13 goals).

DC Power FC is coming off a 2-0 road victory against Spokane Zephyr FC on Saturday night that came via goals by Alyssa Walker and Daisa Torbert that moved the side into fifth place in the standings.
Tampa Bay Sun FC is coming off a 3-0 defeat at home against Brooklyn FC last Wednesday night, maintaining the Sun’s winless record against BKFC all-time.
The Power have won each of their past two road outings at Brooklyn and Spokane but will enter Thursday looking for their first home victory since a 3-1 win against Fort Lauderdale United FC on November 12, 2025. DC has claimed only eight points in nine games on home turf this season.
Tampa Bay’s defeat to Brooklyn marked the first time the side had lost consecutive games during the spring slate, with the side having gone on a three-game undefeated streak previously.
DC’s Alyssa Walker recorded her third game-winning goal since joining the Power during the winter break against Spokane. Walker has recorded a league-leading four game-winning goals overall this season including her time at Carolina Ascent FC in the fall schedule.
The Sun are undefeated in five prior meetings with DC, going 3-0-2 in the series between the clubs. Thursday’s contest marks the second of three meetings this season between the clubs after previously playing to a 1-1 draw at Suncoast Credit Union Field on February 14.
DC’s Claire Constant became the first Power player to record a goal against Tampa Bay in the overall series between the clubs in their most recent meeting, with Tampa Bay having recorded four consecutive shutouts previously.
DC Power forward Gianna Gourley leads the team with eight goals this season but is looking to end a seven-game scoreless streak, her longest since joining the Power in the 2024/25 season.

Brooklyn FC is coming off a 3-0 road victory against Tampa Bay Sun FC last Wednesday night that saw Rebecca Cooke record a goal and assist, while Cat Zimmerman and Hope Breslin also found the net.
Lexington SC got back in the win column after beating Fort Lauderdale United FC 2-0 at home this past Saturday. Darya Rajaee scored against her former team and Sarah Griffith converted a penalty for the side.
Brooklyn and Lexington are all square with a 2-2-2 record all-time, but Lexington is on a four-game undefeated streak in the series, winning each of their prior two meetings this season by a 2-0 scoreline. BKFC is looking for its first win in the series since December 2024.
Lexington’s Catherine Barry recorded her 10^th goal of the season as a late equalizer against Dallas Trinity FC last Wednesday night, becoming the eighth player to record double-digit goals in a league campaign across the regular season and playoffs. Barry has recorded three game-winning goals and one game-equalizing goal this season.

Carolina Ascent FC is riding a four-match winning streak following a 2-0 victory against Brooklyn FC on Sunday afternoon that saw Mia Corbin record a goal and assist at Maimonides Park.
Fort Lauderdale United is coming off a a 2-0 defeat against Lexington last Saturday afternoon. Fort Lauderdale has failed to score in its last two matches.
Carolina is on a four-game shutout streak entering Saturday’s game, one game shy of equaling the league’s single-season record. Goalkeeper Sydney Martinez has been in net for all four contests, recording 12 saves and a –2.68 Goals Prevented mark over that span.
Fort Lauderdale United is on an 11-game winless streak that has equaled the longest in Gainbridge Super League history, previously recorded by Brooklyn FC between Feb. 22-April 26, 2025.
Carolina’s Mia Corbin has recorded one goal and two assists over the past three games, while winter break arrival Tyler Lussi has scored a pair of game-winning goals in four appearances for the club.
Fort Lauderdale holds a 3-2-1 record against Carolina in the all-time series between the clubs, with FTL UTD’s most recent win coming in a 1-0 regular against Ascent on November 8, 2025. This marks the third of fourth meetings between the sides this season, with FTL UTD 1-0-1 in the prior two.

Sporting Club Jacksonville is coming off a 4-0 victory against Dallas Trinity FC on Sunday that saw four different players find the net and Paige Kenton notch a goal and assist at the Cotton Bowl.
Spokane Zephyr FC fell 2-0 to DC Power FC in its most recent outing last Saturday at ONE Spokane Stadium, ending a two-game winning streak for the club.
Sporting JAX’s Baylee DeSmit scored in her fourth consecutive game against Dallas, moving into a tie for the longest scoring streak in Super League history. Her teammates Ashlyn Puerta and Paige Kenton have also recorded four-game scoring streaks this season.
Saturday’s contest will feature the league’s top two in shutouts this season with Jacksonville’s Kaitlyn Parks sitting on nine clean sheets and Spokane’s Hope Hisey sitting on seven. Parks has recorded shutouts in four consecutive games and would set a league single-season record with her next clean sheet, breaking a record previously set by Hisey and Dallas Trinity’s Madison White a season ago.

The 19-year-old has recorded 17 goal contributions this season, including four assists in the past four games.
