SPORTING JAX’S PAIGE KENTON HITS DOUBLE-DIGIT GOALS
Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Paige Kenton recorded her 10th goal of the regular season in the side’s 4-1 victory against Fort Lauderdale United FC this past Saturday, becoming the club’s second double-digit goalscorer this season alongside Ashlyn Puerta.
Jacksonville becomes the first team to have multiple double-digit goalscorers in a Gainbridge Super League regular season, with the potential Baylee DeSmit (9G) could join her teammates in the remaining five games of the regular season.
BROOKLYN’S KROEGER, JACKSONVILLE’S HUGHES JOIN GOLDEN PLAYMAKER RACE
Brooklyn FC’s Sam Kroeger and Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Meg Hughes joined Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta and Paige Kenton in a four-way tie for the league-lead in assists over the past weekend as Kroeger recorded a pair of assists in BKFC’s 3-0 victory against Dallas Trinity FC while Hughes notched one assist in Sporting JAX’s 4-1 win against Fort Lauderdale.
All four players are now in line to surpass the Gainbridge Super League single-season record previously set by Carolina Ascent FC’s Jill Aguilera in the 2024/25 season. Jacksonville has five games remaining in the regular season while Brooklyn has four.
SPORTING CLUB JACKSONVILLE SET SINGLE-SEASON WINS RECORD
Sporting Club Jacksonville set the Super League single-season record for wins on Saturday with its victory against Fort Lauderdale United FC, earning its 14th win of the campaign. The mark surpassed Carolina Ascent FC’s 13 wins in the 2024/25 season.
DC POWER FC EARNS FIRST WIN AGAINST TAMPA BAY SUN
DC Power FC earned its first victory against Tampa Bay Sun FC on Saturday night with a 2-0 win at Suncoast Credit Union Field, ending a six-game winless run previously in the series as Alyssa Walker and Dasia Torbert found the net. The lone remaining side the Power have yet to defeat all-time in the Super League is Carolina Ascent FC, which holds a 6-0-2 record all-time against DC.
DC’S WALKER, JACKSONVILLE’S KENTON PROVING GAME-WINNERS
DC Power FC’s Alyssa Walker and Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Paige Kenton each registered the game-winning goal for their respective clubs this past Saturday. They are now tied for the most game-winning goals by an individual player in a Super League regular season with five apiece.
All five of Kenton’s game-winners have come with Jacksonville, while Walker recorded one game-winner for Carolina Ascent FC in the fall before logging four game-winners for the Power since her arrival during the winter break.

- Sporting Club Jacksonville heads west following a 4-1 victory against Fort Lauderdale United FC in its most recent outing which extended the club’s undefeated streak to seven games. Jacksonville is 6-0-1 in its last seven games, with the lone draw coming against Spokane on March 28.
- Spokane is winless in its last three outings and sits six points behind Dallas Trinity FC in the fourth and final playoff place with five games remaining in the regular season.
