DeSmit’s two-goal game was also her third of the current regular season, putting her one behind Lexington SC’s Catherine Barry for the most in the league this season and tied for the second-most in a season alongside Emina Ekic, who recorded three braces for Spokane Zephyr FC in the 2024/25 season.
