
TAMPA, Fla. – The Gainbridge Super League announced on Monday its Golden Awards for the 2025/26 regular season, honoring Lexington SC’s Catherine Barry as the Golden Boot winner, Lexington’s Kat Asman as the Gainbridge Golden Glove winner, and Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta as the Golden Playmaker winner as the league’s three individual statistical award honorees.

Golden Boot
Barry earned the Golden Boot after scoring 16 goals in 28 appearances for Lexington. The Hingham, Mass. native set the record for most goals scored in a single season, breaking the mark of 13 goals recorded by Allie Thornton. In addition to Barry’s 16 goals, she also recorded four assists for the Girls in Green, becoming the first player to record 20 goal contributions in a regular season in league history, while seeing Barry have a direct role in 40% of Lexington’s goals as the club claimed the Players’ Shield.

Golden Glove
Asman earned the Gainbridge Golden Glove after posting a goals-against average of 0.86 while playing every minute of the regular season for Players’ Shield winner Lexington. The Orlando Pride loanee finished the season with a league-leading 11 clean sheets and ranked second in the league with 68 saves at a save percentage of 73.6% while posting a -4.67 Goals Prevented mark.

Golden Playmaker
Puerta earned the Golden Playmaker award after recording seven assists in 2,150 minutes, earning the Sporting JAX midfielder the highest assist per minute average of the four players who tied for the league-lead. The U.S. Youth international also recorded 12 goals in JAX’s inaugural campaign, helping the side claim the No. 2 seed in the upcoming Gainbridge Super League Playoffs, as Jacksonville set a single-season record with 54 regular season goals.

The 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League Golden Boot, Gainbridge Golden Glove and Golden Playmaker are the opening three awards that will be presented by the league this year. The Gainbridge Super League’s Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defender of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, and the Gainbridge Super League All-League Teams will be announced later this month.
