Carolina Ascent Stays on Top as Dallas Trinity Climbs in Week 7 Power Rankings 

Carolina Ascent FC continues to set the pace, but the battle for position behind the league leaders is heating up. Dallas Trinity FC is riding a three-game winning streak, Lexington SC handed Sporting JAX another setback, and the standings are beginning to take shape.  

Here’s how the eight teams stack up in the Week 7 Power Rankings.

3		DC Power FC (2-2-2) Week 7: vs. FTL	3 Last Week: 6	DC Power controlled large stretches of its 1-1 draw with Tampa Bay, winning possession nine times in the attacking third but leaving points on the table. The Power now have four set-piece goals, tied for the league lead, but remains in search of more end product from open play.
4		Tampa Bay Sun FC (2-1-2) Week 7: ---	2 Last Week: 2	The Sun saw their two-game winning streak end with a 1-1 draw at DC Power, but Shea Connors continued her strong start with her fourth goal of the season. Tampa Bay is now 4-1-3 all-time against DC, with the teams splitting their first two meetings of 2026 before drawing Friday.
5		Lexington SC (2-2-0) Week 7: vs. DAL	2 Last Week: 7	Lexington bounced back from consecutive losses with a gritty 1-0 win over Sporting JAX, getting a first-season goal from McKenzie Weinert and five saves from Ryan Campbell. The victory moved Lexington to 3-1-0 all-time against Jacksonville, extending its edge in the series.
6		Sporting JAX (3-2-1) Week 7: vs. CAR	2 Last Week: 4	Sporting JAX has dropped two straight after starting the season unbeaten, falling 1-0 to defending champion Lexington at home. Baylee DeSmit remains a major threat, but Jacksonville couldn't find an equalizer despite controlling stretches of the match after McKenzie Weinert's 59th-minute goal.
7		Brooklyn FC (1-5-0) Week 7: ---	3 Last Week: 5	Brooklyn followed its breakthrough win over Sporting JAX with a narrow 1-0 loss to Carolina, managing just two shots and none on target against the league leaders. Those two shots tied for the fewest in a game in Super League history.
8		Fort Lauderdale United FC (1-4-0) Week 7: @ DC	Last Week: 7	Fort Lauderdale has now lost three in a row after Dallas' 2-1 victory, with Jasmine Hamid scoring against her former club less than a minute into the second half. Hamid spent two seasons with FTL and scored 13 goals in 45 appearances before joining Dallas, making Friday's goal her first against her former team.
