WEEK 11 STORYLINES
LEXINGTON, SPORTING JAX MEET IN TOP THREE CLASH
The top two sides from the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League season square off for the second time this season when second-placed Sporting Club Jacksonville (4-2-2, 14pts) visits third-placed Lexington SC (4-3-1, 13pts) on Friday night at Lexington SC Stadium (7:30 p.m. ET | Peacock) with both coming off wins last time out. The contest will feature the top three goalscorers in Super League history with Lexington’s Addie McCain (22 goals) and Catherine Barry (20 goals) and Sporting JAX’s Baylee DeSmit (19 goals) all aiming to make an impact.
Lexington has won three out of four meetings between the sides after a 1-0 win on September 19 at Hodges Stadium that saw McKenzie Weinert score the lone goal in the 59th minute.
DC POWER FC, DALLAS TRINITY SQUARE OFF IN PLAYOFF SIX-POINTER
The clubs either side of the playoff line square off when fourth-placed DC Power FC (3-3-2, 11pts) and fifth-placed Dallas Trinity FC (3-3-2, 11pts) meet at Audi Field on Sunday afternoon (3 p.m. ET | Peacock). Dallas took a 2-1 win when the sides met for the first time this season at the Cotton Bowl behind goals from Onyeka Gamero and Jasmine Hamid and are undefeated in the past four meetings between the clubs (2-0-2).
BROOKLYN FC LOOKS TO MAINTAIN UNDEFEATED RUN AGAINST TAMPA BAY SUN FC
Brooklyn FC (2-5-1, 7pts) will try to continue its remarkable undefeated record against Tampa Bay Sun FC (2-3-3, 9pts) at Maimonides Park on Saturday afternoon (4 p.m. ET | Peacock). BKFC has gone 5-0-3 all-time against the Sun, one of only six series in league history where one side is undefeated against another. Tampa Bay has suffered consecutive losses for the first time this season, while Brooklyn played to a 1-1 draw with Dallas in the most recent game before its Week 10 bye.
CAROLINA ASCENT CONTINUES PURSUIT OF SECOND PLAYERS’ SHIELD
Carolina Ascent FC (7-1-1, 22pts) will try to extend its six-game undefeated streak and 10-game regular season road winning streak when it visits Fort Lauderdale United FC (2-7-0, 6pts) on Thursday night (7:30 p.m. ET | Peacock). Carolina took a 3-0 victory against Fort Lauderdale United when the sides met on September 4 at American Legion Memorial Stadium and will aim to keep its lead at the top of the standings at eight points before its return fixture with Lexington SC on October 31.
Should Carolina take victory, it would mark the club’s 20th away win in the Super League, the first club to reach that landmark in league history, with Carolina having won more games on the road (19) than at home (16) so far in its regular season history.
