REWIND: WEEK 12
FIRST AT AUDI
DC Power FC picked up its first home win of the season with a 3-1 victory against Fort Lauderdale United FC. Forward Dasia Torbert scored her first two professional goals and became the 11th player this season to record a brace.
STAR SUB
Loza Abera entered the match in the 80th minute and scored DC’s final goal of the night three minutes later. The goal was her fourth scored after coming off the bench. No other player has more than three goals as a substitute.
EXTENDED THE STREAK
Lexington SC won 2-0 on the road against Brooklyn FC, marking its third win in a row. The win also tied the record for the longest undefeated streak in league history at 11 matches.
WEINERT FOR THE WIN
McKenzie Weinert contributed to both goals in the 2-0 win against Brooklyn. She became the seventh player this season, and the third for Lexington, to record a goal and an assist in the same match.
NEW GOALS LEADER
Addie McCain (LEX) scored her 16th goal on Saturday, surpassing Allie Thornton (DAL) to become the league’s new all-time regular season goals leader.
KEEPING IT CLEAN
Goalkeeper Kat Asman recorded three saves and four punches in the match to earn Lexington’s fifth clean sheet, tying Spokane’s Hope Hisey for the most shutouts this season.
DERBY DRAWS
Fort Lauderdale United FC and Tampa Bay Sun FC drew 1-1 in their seventh meeting against each other. It was the fifth time this Florida Derby ended in a draw, and the third time the draw was a result of an equalizer after the 90th minute.
ACADEMY PRODUCTS
Sealey Strawn and Rhea Moore scored in Dallas Trinity FC’s 2-0 win over Spokane Zephyr FC on Saturday. It was the first time two teenagers/Academy players scored in the same match.

IN THE RECORD BOOKS
A win or draw for Lexington SC against Tampa Bay Sun FC on Saturday would set a record for the longest undefeated streak in league history at 12 matches.

- DC Power (3-3-4) is coming off a 3-1 win against Fort Lauderdale United. Carolina Ascent (3-3-4) did not compete in Week 12. Its most recent result was a 1-0 loss to Fort Lauderdale on November 8.
- DC Power has never won against Carolina Ascent and holds a 0-4-1 record against the Charlotte team. Carolina won 3-2 when the teams last met on October 4 behind goals from Mackenzie George, Maddie Mercado and Alyssa Walker.
