TAMPA, Fla. (July 1) – The USL Super League is now officially the Gainbridge Super League, launching a new era in professional women’s soccer through a historic partnership between the United Soccer League and Gainbridge®, a Group 1001 company.
The new brand is live across all league communications, digital platforms, and brand touchpoints ahead of the 2025/26 season, which kicks off on August 23. The naming rights agreement, announced in April, makes Gainbridge® the first-ever entitlement partner of a major professional soccer league in the United States — a milestone moment for both women’s sports and the business of soccer.
“Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter as we officially become the Gainbridge Super League,” said Amanda Vandervort, President of the Gainbridge Super League. “This name represents more than a partnership—it reflects our shared vision for the future of women’s professional soccer in the United States. With Gainbridge® as our entitlement partner, we’re entering a new era defined by opportunity and investment. Together, we are laying the foundation for long-term and strategic growth, competitive excellence, and a lasting impact for players, clubs, and communities across the country.”
The transition follows the league’s successful inaugural season, which concluded in June with Tampa Bay Sun FC defeating Fort Lauderdale United FC 1-0 to claim the first league championship. The Gainbridge Super League will welcome its ninth team in August with the addition of Sporting Jacksonville, continuing to expand its national footprint and deliver more professional opportunities for players, coaches, and communities.
With the official launch of the Gainbridge Super League, the league enters its second season with growing momentum, rising fan engagement, and a powerful brand partner committed to elevating women’s sports.
