Jacksonville, FL (August 22, 2025) – Sporting Club Jacksonville today announced a kickoff time adjustment for its historic inaugural fixture in the Gainbridge Super League against DC Power FC due to projected thunderstorms in the Northeast Florida area late Saturday afternoon.
Originally scheduled for a 7:00 PM ET kickoff, the match will now kick off at 8:00 PM ET. The change has been made out of an abundance of caution for the safety of players, fans, and staff.
Updated Schedule for Saturday, August 23, 2025:
- 4:00 PM – Box Office and Parking Lots Open
- 6:00 PM – Pre-Match Fan Party begins in the Fan Zone (weather permitting)
- 7:00 PM – Stadium Gates Open
- 8:00 PM – Match Kickoff: Sporting JAX vs. DC Power FC
Sporting JAX reminds fans that umbrellas are not permitted inside the stadium. However, rain ponchos will be available at the merchandise outlets. In the event of extreme weather or lightning, fans will be encouraged to shelter inside the stadium concourses or return to their vehicles until conditions improve.
