HOPE MAKES HISTORY
Spokane Zephyr goalkeeper Hope Hisey became the first player to record 15 regular season clean sheets in the Gainbridge Super League after Spokane’s shutout win against Carolina. Hisey recorded four saves in the matchup.
LOTS OF GOALS, ON BOTH SIDES
While Fort Lauderdale scored multiple goals for the first time since September 28 in the team’s 3-3 draw with Brooklyn, it was the fourth consecutive match that the team conceded 3+ goals.

STREAKS
Lexington SC’s 2-1 victory against Carolina Ascent FC was its second straight win and extended the team’s undefeated streak to a league-record 17 games across the 2024/25 – 2025/26 seasons.
Dallas Trinity FC’s 4-0 victory against Fort Lauderdale United extended Trinity’s undefeated streak to six matches. It’s one shy of the club’s longest undefeated streak all-time of seven games between October 6-November 23, 2024.

Brooklyn FC’s Rebecca Cooke has been suspended for one game following her red card for a double caution against Fort Lauderdale United FC on February 14. Cooke will be unavailable for selection for Brooklyn’s contest against Spokane Zephyr FC on March 14.

WEEK 20 MATCH NOTES
CARvDAL
- Carolina Ascent is coming off a 2-0 defeat against Spokane Zephyr.
- Dallas’ clash against Lexington was postponed due to field conditions.
- Carolina and Dallas have played each other once this season, with Dallas securing a 1-0 victory on December 13th with a game winning goal by Lexi Missimo.
- Carolina is looking for their first win since December 6. In the team’s last five matches, they are 0-4-1.
- Both clubs announced some big additions during the break. Dallas announced the signing of Bethan Bos (Balcer) and has brought Heather Stainbrook in on loan from the Washington Spirit. Carolina announced the signing of Shea Groom, who spent the last season with the Chicago Stars.
- Dallas currently tops the league with 12 different players scoring goals this season, while Carolina has had nine players find the back of the net.
LEXvJAX
- Lexington’s Week 19 clash against Dallas was postponed due to field conditions.
- Sporting JAX is coming off a 3-0 victory over Spokane, where Baylee DeSmit, Paige Kenton and Georgia Brown all find the back of the net in the first half.
- The only previous meeting between the current #1 and #2 in the standings was a six-goal affair, with Lexington winning 4-2 at home. That was the most goals that JAX has allowed all season.
- Sporting JAX’s Ashlyn Puerta (14) and Paige Kenton (13) lead the league in goal contributions. Lexington’s Catherine Barry sits at third with 11.
- Kaitlyn Parks recorded her sixth shutout in Week 19, tying her for the most in the league with SPK’s Hope Hisey.
TBvFTL
- Tampa Bay is coming off a 1-1 draw against DC Power FC at home. Jordan Fusco scored her second goal of the season in the matchup.
- FTL is coming off a 3-3 thriller against Brooklyn FC where Abi Hugh, Jasmine Hamid and Ella Simpson found the back of the net.
- While last season, there two team’s met in the 2025 Final, this year the teams currently sit in 8th and 9th place respectively.
- Tampa and FTL have played each other twice so far this season, with both matches resulting in draws. The first meeting was 0-0 and more recently a 1-1 draw.
- Tampa Bay is looking for its first home win of the season, entering Saturday with a 0-3-5 record at Suncoast Credit Union Field.
