SPORTING JAX CLINCHES
Expansion side Sporting JAX became the first team to clinch a spot in the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Playoffs after its victory on Saturday afternoon against Brooklyn FC and dropped points by Spokane Velocity FC and DC Power FC over the remainder of the weekend’s action.
PARKS EARNS SHUTOUTS RECORD
Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Kaitlyn Parks set a Gainbridge Super League single-season record with her 10th shutout of the regular season on Saturday afternoon, surpassing Hope Hisey’s record of nine shutouts for Spokane Zephyr FC in the 2024/25 season.

Lexington SC’s Catherine Barry earned the No. 4 slot in ESPN’s SportsCenter Top 10 on Wednesday night for her outstanding chipped finish against DC Power FC at Audi Field.

Two clubs made notable additions as the Roster Freeze approaches on April 21 as Dallas Trinity FC acquired Jasmine Hamid via transfer from Fort Lauderdale United FC, and Fort Lauderdale United FC acquired Shea Moyer on loan from Lexington SC ahead of the past weekend’s action.
FORT LAUDERDALE’S WINNING BREAKTHROUGH
Fort Lauderdale United earned its first victory since November 8 as the side took a 3-1 win against DC Power FC on Monday night at Beyond Bancard Field. The win brought FTL UTD’s 12-game winless streak – the longest in Gainbridge Super League history – to an end.
DC’S ABERA HITS DOUBLE DIGITS
DC Power FC forward Loza Abera recorded her 10th regular season goal in the Gainbridge Super League on Monday night against Fort Lauderdale United FC to become the 15th player to reach the mark in league history.
TRINITY’S McCAMEY EARNS HELPER
Dallas Trinity FC’s Tyler McCamey became only the second goalkeeper to record an assist in the Gainbridge Super League as she set up Jenny-Julia Danielsson’s stoppage-time goal against Spokane Zephyr FC on Saturday. McCamey joined former Lexington SC goalkeeper Sarah Cox, who recorded an assist against Dallas Trinity on September 13, 2024, also at the Cotton Bowl.

- Sporting Club Jacksonville is on a six-game undefeated streak (5-0-1) after recording a 2-0 victory against Brooklyn FC this past Saturday that saw Sophia Boman score for a third consecutive game.
- Fort Lauderdale’s three-goal performance against DC Power marked the fourth time this season the side had recorded at least three goals in a game. All four of those contests have come at Beyond Bancard Field.
- Sporting JAX’s Kaitlyn Parks recorded her 10th shutout of the season on Saturday afternoon to set a Gainbridge Super League single-season record. Parks has recorded five clean sheets in the past six outings, conceding only once in that span.
- FTL UTD’s Emily Thompson scored her first goal in the professional ranks in her second appearance for the club against DC Power. A native of nearby Miramar, Fla., Thompson most recently competed for the University of Central Florida.
- Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta has recorded five assists since the start of the spring season, most in the Super League over that span, to move into a tie with teammate Paige Kenton on seven assists this season. The next assist for either Puerta or Kenton will set a league single-season record for helpers, surpassing Jill Aguilera’s seven assists for Carolina Ascent FC in 2024/25.
- Fort Lauderdale’s Kiara Locklear recorded the second two-assist game in FTL UTD history in the club’s win against DC Power on Monday night. Locklear also recorded a two-assist game for the club against Lexington SC on February 22, 2025.
- Sporting Club Jacksonville has earned a 2-0-1 record in its three prior meetings with Fort Lauderdale United FC this season, with Paige Kenton having recorded one goal and one assist.
- Jacksonville’s Sophia Boman is the fourth player in the squad to record a scoring streak of at least three games this season, joining Baylee DeSmit (Feb. 11-March 22), Paige Kenton (Oct. 31-Dec. 6) and Ashlyn Puerta (Oct. 18-Nov. 22).

- Carolina Ascent FC enters on a six-game undefeated streak following a 2-1 victory against Tampa Bay Sun FC on Sunday evening to earn the club’s fifth win in the past six outings.
- Lexington SC returns to action on a three-game winning streak after a 2-0 victory against DC Power FC last Wednesday night at Audi Field as Kat Asman recorded her eighth shutout of the season.
- Carolina’s Lily Nabet scored her first goal in the professional ranks in Ascent’s victory against Tampa Bay, with the tally coming in her 52nd league appearances across the Gainbridge Super League and National Women’s Soccer League.
- Lexington has posted a clean sheet in each of its past three contests with goalkeeper Kat Asman currently sitting on a 281-minute shutout streak dating to LSC’s 2-2 draw against Dallas Trinity FC on March 18.
- Ascent’s current six-game undefeated streak is its longest in the 2025/26 season and third-longest in club history. Carolina posted 11-game (Aug. 17-Nov.9, 2024) and eight-game (March 23-May 24, 2025) undefeated streaks during the 2024/25 season.
- LSC forward Catherine Barry recorded a two-goal performance to lead the side to victory against DC Power, moving Barry to a league-leading 12 goals this season and within one goal of the Gainbridge Super League single-season scoring record of 13 goals held by Allie Thornton of Dallas Trinity FC in the 2024/25 season.
- Barry’s two-goal performance against DC Power was also her fourth brace in the Gainbridge Super League regular season, the most by an individual player in the league’s regular season.
- Carolina defender Jill Aguilera’s goal from the penalty spot against Tampa Bay Sun FC was her first penalty kick goal in the League. Previously, Mia Corbin had gone 2 of 2 from the spot this season. Ascent’s three goals from the penalty spot are the most in the league this season.
- Ascent holds a 2-1-3 record against Lexington all-time but LSC claimed a 2-1 victory when the sides last met on February 7 as goals by Alyssa Bourgeois and McKenzie Weinert rallied Lexington to victory at American Legion Memorial Stadium.

- Tampa Bay Sun FC returns to action after a 2-1 defeat against Carolina Ascent FC this past Sunday brought an end to the club’s two-game winning streak.
- DC Power FC returns for a second consecutive game in Florida on a three-game losing streak after a 3-1 defeat to Fort Lauderdale United FC on Monday night at Beyond Bancard Field.
- The Sun’s Madi Parsons scored her second goal of the season against Carolina but the Sun were unable to overcome a two-goal halftime deficit to remain with just one home win this season.
- The Power’s Loza Abera scored the 10th goal of her career in the Gainbridge Super League in her side’s contest against Fort Lauderdale, giving her three goals in five appearances against FTL UTD during her career.
- Tampa Bay is undefeated in six prior meetings against DC Power, posting a 4-0-2 record in the series. The Sun claimed a 2-0 victory when the sides last met on March 26 at Audi Field as Faith Webber and Jilly Shimkin scored for the visitors, keeping the Power with only one goal in six meetings between the sides.
- DC forward Loza Abera’s goal against Fort Lauderdale ended a 260-minute scoreless streak for the Power, who had previously been held scoreless in their prior two contests.
- Tampa Bay and DC have each claimed one home win apiece this season, currently tied for the fewest in a Gainbridge Super League season with Lexington SC in 2024/25 when LSC went 1-9-4 at home. Both the Sun and the Power have three home games remaining.

- Brooklyn FC returns home following a 2-0 defeat against Sporting Club Jacksonville this past Saturday that extended the club’s current losing streak to three games.
- Dallas Trinity FC heads north off a 3-1 victory against Spokane Zephyr FC at the Cotton Bowl that ended the club’s four-game winless streak as Amber Wisner and Jenny-Julia Danielsson both found the net.
- BKFC would be eliminated from postseason contention with a defeat, which would move Dallas Trinity to 35 points and reduce Brooklyn’s maximum available total to 34 points with four games to play in the regular season.
- Trinity goalkeeper Tyler McCamey became the second goalkeeper to record an assist in the Gainbridge Super League with her helper on Jenny-Julia Danielsson’s goal in second-half stoppage time on Saturday.
- Both goalkeeper assists in league history have occurred at the Cotton Bowl, with Lexington SC goalkeeper Sarah Cox having recorded an assist against Dallas Trinity on September 13, 2024.
- Dallas Trinity holds a 3-2-1 edge in the all-time series against Brooklyn with the sides most recently having played to a 1-1 draw at the Cotton Bowl on January 31. Sunday’s game marks the first of two matchups in Brooklyn this month between the sides, with the other coming on April 25.
- Dallas Trinity’s Camryn Lancaster was a force in leading pressure from the front in the month of March, leading the league in winning possession 10 times in the attacking third, three more than Spokane Zephyr FC’s Felicia Knox.
