The Gainbridge Super League today announced a new partnership with TransferRoom, a centralized sporting marketplace where clubs can identify, evaluate and communicate about players in real time. The collaboration will give Gainbridge Super League clubs the ability to access player data on a global scale, allowing them to streamline their recruitment efforts in an increasingly competitive landscape.
TransferRoom introduced a new Women’s Marketplace in February, reflecting the changing reality of the women’s game, bringing long-needed visibility, access and opportunity together in one global women’s football marketplace. The Women’s Marketplace builds on the success of TransferRoom’s platform in men’s football, which has brought together more than 800 clubs and 550 trusted agencies from 130 leagues worldwide since its introduction in the men’s game in 2017.
“The women’s game is growing quickly, and with that growth comes increased competition for talent,” said Katie Ely, Technical Director, USL Women’s Pathway. “Platforms like TransferRoom allow us to better support our clubs and connect them to the global game. The Women’s Marketplace will strengthen our clubs’ scouting efforts by saving time, reducing uncertainty and providing better resources so our clubs can focus more on performance and player development.”
In addition to supporting clubs, this new partnership also aligns with Gainbridge Super League’s broader vision of being a global leader in women’s football and building a connected women’s pathway. By giving clubs access to TransferRoom and its Women’s Marketplace, the league and its clubs can strengthen efforts to attract top talent, expanding opportunities for players and supporting player progression and movement throughout the global women’s soccer ecosystem.
“The league’s partnership with TransferRoom is a definitive statement of intent to lead the global women’s game by professionalizing its infrastructure to match the world-class talent on the pitch,” said Claire Rafferty, Senior Customer Success Manager, TransferRoom. “By providing clubs with direct, real-time access to a global network of decision-makers, the league is bridging the information gap and establishing itself as a vital hub in the international transfer ecosystem. This deal not only empowers teams to make smarter, more efficient recruitment decisions but also creates a transparent environment that enhances player pathways and ensures their athletes receive unprecedented visibility on the world stage.”
