SPOKANE’S HOPE HISEY HITS NEW HEIGHTS WITH 150TH SAVE
Spokane Zephyr FC goalkeeper Hope Hisey became the first goalkeeper in Gainbridge Super League history to record 150 regular season saves on Sunday evening, notching a three-save display in her side’s 3-1 victory against Fort Lauderdale United FC at ONE Spokane Stadium. The 2024/25 Super League Goalkeeper of the Year reached the mark in her 46th appearance and has averaged 3.3 saves per game in the Super League over her career.
CAROLINA’S JILL AGUILERA RECORDS 10TH ASSIST IN REGULAR SEASON
Carolina Ascent FC’s Jill Aguilera recorded her 10th assist in the Gainbridge Super League’s regular season on Saturday night during the club’s 2-1 victory against Tampa Bay Sun FC. The Puerto Rico international is the fourth player to reach 10 regular season assists, joining Ascent teammate Audrey Coleman, Dallas Trinity FC’s Chioma Ubogagu and 2024/25 Super League Player of the Year Emina Ekic.
The 2024/25 Super League Golden Playmaker, Aguilera reached the mark in her 53rd regular season game. She is also the Super League’s all-time leader with 95 chances created, while notching a mark of 11.8 Expected Assists individually, also a league-best.
EMINA EKIC TRANSFERRED TO HOUSTON DASH IN LEAGUE-RECORD TRANSACTION
Lexington SC announced on Tuesday the transfer of Emina Ekic to the Houston Dash of the National Women’s Soccer League for an undisclosed league-record fee. The 2024/25 Gainbridge Super League Player of the Year departs the league having recorded 12 goals and 10 assists – currently the lone player to reach double-digits in both categories – with her 22 goal contributions tied for the most in Super League history alongside current Lexington SC midfielder Addie McCain.
FIVE IRONWOMEN STANDING ENTERING FINAL MONTH OF REGULAR SEASON
Five players are in contention to earn Ironwoman status in playing every minute of the 2025/26 Gainbridge Super League regular season as the campaign moves into its final month this weekend. Dallas Trinity FC’s Amber Wisner, DC Power FC’s Sydney Cummings, Lexington SC’s Kat Asman and Spokane Zephyr FC’s Hope Hisey and Reese Tappan have all been ever-present for their clubs this campaign.
Wisner is aiming for a second consecutive season earning Ironwoman status, having been the lone player to feature in every minute of the league’s 2024/25 campaign in the league.
2025 SUPER LEAGUE FINALISTS FIRST ELIMINATED
2025 Gainbridge Super League Finalists Tampa Bay Sun FC and Fort Lauderdale United FC became the first two teams to be mathematically eliminated from contention for the 2026 Gainbridge Super League Playoffs following their results in Week 28.
Tampa Bay suffered a late 2-1 defeat against Carolina Ascent FC on Saturday night to sit on 21 points through 25 games, while Fort Lauderdale suffered road defeats to DC Power FC on Wednesday night and Spokane Zephyr FC on Sunday night to sit on 23 points through 25 games.

RECORD WATCH UPDATE
- Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Paige Kenton, Ashlyn Puerta, Meg Hughes and Brooklyn’s Sam Kroeger currently sit at seven assists this season, equaling the single-season record set in 2024/25 by Golden Playmaker winner Jill Aguilera. Whoever scores the eighth assist will set a new single-season record.
- Lexington SC’s Catherine Barry and Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta currently sit at 19 goal contributions this season. - DC Power returns to action following a 4-0 victory against Fort Lauderdale United FC last Wednesday night at Audi Field, the club’s second consecutive victory.
- Dallas Trinity FC continues its road trip following a 1-1 draw against Brooklyn FC on Saturday night at Maimonides Park that saw Camryn Lancaster score a 90th-minute equalizer for the visitors.
- The Power’s 4-0 victory against FTL UTD marked the first time the club had recorded four goals in a game in the Gainbridge Super League. DC had previously recorded three goals in a game on six occasions, including three times in the 2025/26 season.
- Dallas is winless in its last three games and has won only once in its past eight games. Since the start of the spring schedule, Trinity has recorded three victories in 12 games, tied for third-fewest in the league.
- DC’s Alyssa Walker recorded her fifth goal since joining the Power during the winter break against Fort Lauderdale United last Wednesday night, which also stood as her fifth game-winning goal for the club.
- Walker has recorded six game-winning goals overall this season, including one for Carolina Ascent FC, the most in a Super League season, one ahead of Sporting Club Jacksonville’s Paige Kenton with five.
- Dallas’ Camryn Lancaster became the fourth different Trinity player to score as a substitute this season, moving her into a four-way tie for the club lead with three goals this regular season.

- Tampa Bay Sun FC saw its losing streak stretch to four games following a 2-1 loss to Carolina Ascent FC on Saturday night at Suncoast Credit Union Field, eliminating the defending title-holders from postseason contention.
- FTL UTD’s Kiara Locklear scored her 11th goal for the club against Spokane Zephyr FC on Sunday night. Locklear enters this contest with 19 goal contributions for Fort Lauderdale (11G, 8A) and could become only the second player to reach 20 goal contributions for a single club in Super League history with either a goal or assist.
- Tampa Bay’s Shea Connors scored on her debut for the Sun against Carolina Ascent, coming on as a second-half substitute for the side after her arrival from Sydney FC in Australia’s A-League Women. Connors was the fifth player to score as a substitute for Tampa Bay this season.
- Fort Lauderdale has conceded the most penalty kicks in the Super League this season, with opponents going 5 of 5 from the spot against United. Tampa Bay is tied for second in the league, having conceded 4 of 4 from the spot this season.
- Tampa Bay is undefeated in eight prior meetings against Fort Lauderdale across the regular season and playoffs, posting a 3-0-5 record in the series. The Sun took a 3-0 victory when the teams last met on February 21 as Sydny Nasello scored a pair of goals at Suncoast Credit Union Field.

- Lexington SC heads west following a 2-1 victory against first-placed Sporting Club Jacksonville on Saturday afternoon that moved the side within a point of Jacksonville at the top of the Gainbridge Super League standings.
- Spokane has won consecutive games for the second time this season following its victory against Fort Lauderdale. The side is now looking for just the second three-game winning streak in its history, previously recording three consecutive wins between April 3-16, 2025.
- Lexington has won its past two outings and five of its past six games overall following its win in Jacksonville, with McKenzie Weinert scoring in each of the past two games to move to eight goals this season.
- Spokane’s Lena Silano recorded her fourth assist of the season on Ally Cook’s late goal against Fort Lauderdale United, moving to 10 goal contributions this season. Silano is the second player to record double-digit goal contributions in a season for Zephyr following former player Emina Ekic (16) in the 2024/25 season.
- Lexington’s Addie McCain scored the opening goal in her side’s victory against Sporting JAX, breaking an 11-game run without a goal. The Super League’s all-time leading scorer with 18 goals, McCain had last found the net on December 6, 2025 against Spokane.
- Spokane’s Ally Cook recorded her 11th goal for the club all-time against Fort Lauderdale United, becoming Zephyr’s leading scorer as she broke a tie with former player Emina Ekic.
- Lexington’s Catherine Barry recorded her 19th goal contribution of the regular season with an assist against Sporting JAX, giving her 15 goals and four assists this season. Barry could become the first player to record 20 goal contributions in a season in Spokane. Zephyr holds a narrow 2-1-4 lead in the all-time series against Lexington with the side having finished level in each of their three prior meetings this season.

- Sporting Club Jacksonville continues its homestand following a 2-1 defeat against Lexington SC last Saturday afternoon that saw the side suffer consecutive losses for the first time this season.
- Brooklyn FC heads on the road after playing to a 1-1 draw against Dallas Trinity FC last Saturday night with the club having taken four points from its past two outings overall.
- Jacksonville’s Ashlyn Puerta scored from the penalty spot against Lexington for her 12th goal of the season. The United States youth international’s goal was her first since December 20, 2025 and moved her to 19 goal contributions this regular season (12G, 7A).
- Sunday’s contest could feature the four players tied for the current league-lead with seven assists with Brooklyn’s Sam Kroeger and Jacksonville’s Meg Hughes, Paige Kenton and Ashlyn Puerta all one helper away from setting a single-season Super League record.
