The 2026 Gainbridge Super League Fall Season is almost here! This Saturday, all eight clubs will take the pitch to kick off its new season and their hunt for the title.
Based on last season’s results and some big offseason moves, here’s who we have leading the pack.

The reigning champions kick off the Power Rankings in the top spot after returning nearly their entire roster. The one notable absence from last year’s record-breaking season is Golden Glove winner Kat Asman, whose loan from Orlando Pride concluded. In her place, Lexington has acquired Ryan Campbell on loan from Gotham FC, who was a standout goalkeeper at Stanford and UCLA. Lexington has already won the Player’s Shield and the Championship in 2026 and they will be looking to add more hardware to the award cabinet. |

Carolina Ascent FC (0-0-0) Week 1: @ DC |
Carolina Ascent experienced heartbreak in the Playoffs for the second consecutive season after losing 3-1 in extra time in the Final. The team has returned its main core including Jill Aguilera, Mackenzie George, Mia Corbin and Riley Parker and have added Hope Hisey, the two-time Goalkeeper of the Year, and All League First-Team defender Reese Tappen. Ascent will be looking for more hardware this season after its Players’ Shield in the 2024/25 campaign. |

Sporting JAX (0-0-0) Week 1: @ FTL |
Sporting JAX put together a historic regular season during the 2025/26 campaign but struggled during the push to the playoffs. But with returners like the Player of the Year Ashlyn Puerta and offensive powerhouses like Baylee DeSmit and Paige Kenton, Sporting JAX has plenty of firepower to make another run at the top of the table. The club has also added defenders Ginger Fontenot and Keeley Dockter, goalkeeper Grace Poorbaugh and forward AJ Hennessey, giving an already talented squad even more depth heading into its sophomore season. |

Dallas Trinity FC (0-0-0) Week 1: vs. TB |
Dallas Trinity FC has reached the Playoffs in each of its first two seasons and will look to make another postseason push this fall. After a busy offseason, the club has added USL W League standout Seven Castain on loan from Orlando Pride, who led Utah United to a league title while earning Golden Boot and Player of the Year honors in 2025. With Castain joining proven goal scorers Jasmine Hamid and Ally Cook, Dallas will be looking to turn its postseason appearances into a deeper Playoff run. |

Tampa Bay Sun FC (0-0-0) Week 1: @ DAL |
After finishing near the bottom of the table last season, Tampa Bay Sun FC will be looking to return to the form that helped the club win the inaugural league title. The Sun have added plenty of power to their attack, including Kennedy White, who led Melbourne Victory with eight goals in the 2025/26 A-League Women season, as well returning attacking threats like Sydny Nasello and new additions like Tori Zierenberg, Tampa Bay will look to reestablish itself as one of the league’s most dangerous attacking sides. |

DC Power FC (0-0-0) Week 1: vs. CAR |
DC Power FC narrowly missed the Playoffs for the second consecutive season, but the club has made it clear that it is ready to take the next step. DC has added veteran forward Tyler Lussi, who earned Player of the Month honors with Carolina Ascent last season, along with former Spokane midfielder Emma Jaskaniec and defender Sarah McCoy. With Loza Abera returning after reaching double-digit goals last season and Gianna Gourley also set to return, Power FC have the pieces to make a push for their first postseason appearance. |

Brooklyn FC (0-0-0) Week 1: @ LEX |
Brooklyn FC will enter the 2026 Fall Season with a new head coach in former Brisbane Roar manager Alex Smith and a roster that looks different from last season’s squad. New York native Jess Garziano, who has been with the club since its inaugural season, returns to help lead the attack. The club will also have NaYeong Shin anchoring the backline, with the international coming off a strong 2026 Asian Cup run that saw South Korea reach the semifinals. With key pieces returning and new additions like Boston Legacy loanee Sophia Lowenberg, Brooklyn will look to make its first Playoff appearance this season. |

Fort Lauderdale United FC (0-0-0) Week 1: vs. JAX |
Fort Lauderdale United FC will be looking to bounce back after finishing at the bottom of the table last season. The club has revamped its roster with four additions, including former Spokane defenders Haley Thomas and Kelsey Oyler, veteran forward Grace Cutler and goalkeeper Heather Hinz, who returns to South Florida after a standout loan spell with the club. With a mix of league experience and international experience, Fort Lauderdale will look to make a major turnaround this fall. |
