IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Lexington SC drew 1-1 against Tampa Bay Sun FC on November 22, setting the new league record with its 12th consecutive match without a loss. The draw put Lexington’s record at 5-0-6 record with 21 points, surpassing its total from last season (18).
FASTEST TO 10
Ashlyn Puerta (JAX) scored her tenth goal of the season, becoming the fastest player to reach double digit goals in just 946 minutes, beating the previous record by nearly 600 minutes. The goal also marked her fourth consecutive match with a goal, tying the league record set by Jasmine Hamid (FTL) last season.
KEEPING IT CLEAN
Carolina Ascent FC won 1-0 against DC Power with Meagan McClelland earning the team’s first clean sheet of the season. Brooklyn’s Bre Norris made three saves to earn her first clean sheet of the season in her return to play since September 7. Sporting JAX’s Kaitlyn Parks saved a penalty kick in the final moments of the 2-0 win against Fort Lauderdale for the team’s first clean sheet at home this season.

Brooklyn FC earned a 1-0 win in its last home match of the fall behind the game-winner from Sofia Lewis. Both of her goals this season have come off the bench.

21 Gainbridge Super League were called up to represent their countries during the November FIFA window.

WEEK 14 STORYLINES
ON THE BRINK
Lexington’s Emina Ekić and Carolina’s Audrey Harding have each recorded nine assists across this season and last season. The next to record one will become the first player in league history to reach double-digit assists. Dallas’ Chioma Ubogagu is right behind them with eight assists.
SCORELESS SHOWDOWN
Lexington and Spokane will face off for the third time this season on Saturday. Both previous meetings ended in scoreless draws. Spokane is the only team to shut out Lexington twice, as the Girls in Green are the highest scoring team in the league and averaging over 2 goals per game.
DEFENDING THE BAY
Tampa Bay Sun looks to earn its first home win of the season this Saturday against Sporting JAX. The last time the two sides met at Suncoast Credit Union Field, the visitors won 3-2.
