REWIND: WEEK 21
DC ON A ROLL
DC Power FC’s 2-0 victory againstBrooklyn FC equaled its longest undefeated streak in club history at five games, equaling its run between May 31-Sept. 18 2025. Alyssa Walker scored her second goal since joining the Power and Loza Abera doubled the score to give the Power nine points from their last five outings, one point off the playoff positions entering Week 22.
LEXINGTON’S LOSS
After riding a league-record 17-match unbeaten streak, Lexington has lost its last two matches. The team’s first loss of the season came against Sporting JAX and this past week, Lexington lost a heartbreaker as Dallas found the back of the net in the third minute of second-half stoppage time to snatch all three points.
Lexington’s has Week 22 off and will play a midweek match up against Dallas on March 18 at the Cotton Bowl.
POWER PICKING UP SCORING SLACK
DC Power FC forward Gianna Gourley has been held without a goal for the past four games, equaling her longest scoreless streak in the club’s colors, previously occurring between May 8-24, 2025. DC has continued to roll despite their Golden Boot contender’s dry spell, with Alyssa Walker scoring twice and Loza Abera and Claire Constant once apiece to continue the club’s undefeated streak.
McCAMEY COMES THROUGH FOR TRINITY
Dallas Trinity FC goalkeeper Tyler McCamey recorded a career-high four saves for Dallas Trinity FC in its 1-0 victory against Lexington SC on Sunday, continuing the positive impact the second-year pro has made since arriving during the winter break. The 24-year-old’s shutout in Lexington was her first in the professional ranks, and she has now logged 12 saves at a save percentage of 80% and a -2.38 Goals Prevented mark in four starts.

- Both Paige Kenton and Meg Hughes currently sit at six assists this season and would tie the single-season record set in 2024/25 by Golden Playmaker winner Jill Aguilera. With two assists, Kenton or Hughes will set a new single-season league record.

DCvDAL
- DC Power is coming off a 2-0 victory over Brooklyn FC where both Alyssa Walker and Loza Abera found the back of the net.
- Dallas Trinity is coming off a 1-0 victory over Lexington SC, where Heather Stainbrook stunned the home side after scoring in the third minute of stoppage time to grab all three points.
- DC and Dallas have played each other twice this season, with each side besting the other once – a 3-2 DC victory and a 2-1 DAL victory. Both matches have taken place at the Cotton Bowl, making this Dallas first trip to the county’s capital, with the overall series between the clubs sitting at two wins apiece and two draws.
- DC is currently riding a five-match unbeaten streak, stretching back to December 13. During this stretch, the Power has tied current second place team Lexington SC and defeated first-place Sporting JAX and Brookyln FC. Additionally, they drew Carolina Ascent and Tampa Bay.
- Power forward Gianna Gourley leads the Super League with 59 shots and 22 shots on target this season but is aiming to break a four-game goalless streak which has equaled the longest of her time with DC.

- Carolina Ascent is coming off a 2-0 victory over Dallas, where center back Sydney Studer found the back of the net twice off two headers from corner kicks by Jill Aguilera.
- Tampa Bay is coming off its first home win of the season as the reigning champs downed Fort Lauderdale United CTL 3-0 with a pair of goals from Nasello and an own goal from Crone.
- Carolina and Tampa Bay have only met once so far this season with the September 6th meeting resulting in a 2-2 draw. The Sun are undefeated in five regular season meetings between the clubs, posting a 2-0-3 record.
- Carolina’s Jill Aguilera had a standout international break, leading Puerto Rico to a pair of victories in Concacaf W Qualifying. The 28-year-old recorded five goals across the two contests and is tied with Mexico’s Charlyn Corral for the most in Concacaf W Qualifying with nine goals overall.
- Ascent’s Maria Tapia recorded her first goal and assist at the senior national team level for Puerto Rico against the U.S. Virgin Islands. A USL Academy signing, Tapia has made two appearances in the Gainbridge Super League in her career.
- Tampa Bay’s Sydny Nasello has scored three goals in her past three appearances, moving to six goals overall this season to help power the Sun’s current three-game undefeated streak.
- Carolina’s Jill Aguilera recorded her first two assists of the season against Dallas Trinity in Ascent’s last outing, but leads the Gainbridge Super League in both Chances Created (37) and Expected Assists (4.12xA).
- Tampa Bay midfielder Jordan Fusco has been recalled from her loan by the San Diego Wave. Fusco started four matches and netted two goals in her stint with the Sun.

- Fort Lauderdale United is looking to bounce back from its last outing which resulted in a 3-0 defeat by Tampa Bay Sun FC, extending the club’s winless streak to nine games.
- Jacksonville sits atop the table after taking a 3-0 victory against Lexington on February 21. The result put the first-year club four points clear of second place Lexington entering Week 22.
- Sporting JAX has hosted FTL UTD twice previously, taking a 2-0 win in their first meeting on November 22 before the teams played to a 1-1 draw on December 13 at Hodges Stadium.
- Sporting JAX’s victory against Lexington in its last outing marked its seventh game scoring at least three goals in the 2025/26 season, the most in the league.
- Fort Lauderdale has conceded at least three goals in each of its past five outings dating to a 3-1 loss to Spokane Zephyr FC on December 13. It’s the longest such streak in the Gainbridge Super League’s history.
- Sporting JAX’s Ashlyn Puerta has recorded three assists over the past two games, moving to 16 goal contributions in her first professional season to tie the league’s single-season record. Puerta and teammate Paige Kenton sit 1-2 in goal contributions this campaign, with Kenton having notched seven goals and six assists in 18 appearances.
- Sporting JAX ranks first in the league with 35 goals and second in the league with a 30.21 Expected Goals mark. Fort Lauderdale ranks ninth in the league with 36 goals conceded and a 29.07 Expected Goals Against mark.

- Spokane most recently defeated Carolina 2-0 on the road with goals from Ginger Fontenot and Lena Silano. The contest marked goalkeeper Hope Hisey’s sixth clean sheet of the season and made her the first goalkeeper in league history to reach 15 shutouts.
- Brooklyn is coming off a 2-0 defeat at home against DC Power which broke a three-game undefeated streak for BKFC. It marked only the second time this season Brooklyn had been held scoreless at home this campaign.
- The teams have met twice so far this season, the first meeting resulting in a 1-1 draw and the second resulting in a 1-0 Brooklyn victory behind a goal from Sophia Lewis on November 22. BKFC holds a 2-1-3 advantage in the all-time series.
- Brooklyn has recorded 10 goals this season from set pieces, including six goal from corner kicks, to rank second in the league in that category, with Jessica Garziano tied for second in the league with three assists from set pieces.
